Save Paradise Pier

At the 2017 D23 Expo, Disney announced many plans for their theme parks including one for Disney's California Adventure. They are planning on replacing Paradise Pier with a Pixar themed area called Pixar Pier. Paradise Pier is one of the most iconic and loved parts of Disneyland Resort and many people, including myself would hate to see it go away. Also, the original theme of Disney's California Adventure was to highlight the history and beauty of California. Paradise Pier represents the beach boardwalks that graced many coastal cities in Southern California during the Golden Age of Hollywood. It has given people today a taste of what it felt like to walk along a 1930s boardwalk and has given people from that era memories of the past.
If Disney does want to add a Pixar themed land to the Resort, then I recommend they do it in A Bug's Land. Not only is A Bug's Land much less popular than Paradise Pier, but it already has a Pixar theme given that it is based on the Pixar movie, A Bug's Life. I think that they could just add to that or fully remodel it. Another option would be to build a large, new parking garage and put a new Pixar land where the old parking spaces were.
Please join me in signing this petition to tell Disney to keep Paradise Pier.
