Hello. We are still making progress on my petition for Walt Disney Home Entertainment to get the classic Disney Channel Original shows and movies released on DVD. We have surpassed 500 signatures lately which is awesome.

As you might have already seen for yourselves or read in a previous update for this petition, Disney+ has changed the music in most older DCOMs (Disney Channel Original Movies), including Motocrossed. A few months ago, someone pointed this out on Reddit and people weren't happy to hear about it. Link to the Reddit post in question.

Originally, the movie had "You're an Ocean" by Fastball as its opening credits music, but due to licensing issues, this was changed on Disney+. Surprisingly enough, the iTunes and Amazon Video prints of this movie still have the original song intact and so does the original 2002 VHS release. Who knows if this will still be the case in a future DVD release if Disney decides to give this movie an official DVD release.

Even though streaming is the big thing now, many people still prefer physical DVD/Blu-ray copies of movies and TV shows for various reasons (such as this one), but who knows how long DVDs and Blu-rays will still be in production? The sooner we bring this petition to Disney's attention, the better its chances will be at succeeding.
