Since last week when the original Winnie the Pooh book by A.A. Milne was in the public domain, it seems that then in two years, Tigger and the first Mickey Mouse cartoon "Steamboat Willie" will enter the public domain by 2024. That would mean that Disney would lose the copyrights to its beloved characters that made their home a household name. So we should try to protect and save Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh from becoming public domain properties because since they're the most memorable Disney franchises and Disney can still do productions based on the characters. Let's find it in our power to stop the public domain from making Disney lose the rights to its two popular characters before time runs out on the copyright.
