Disney has done Pixar wrong for the last time! The newest Pixar movie 'Turning Red' will be released on Disney+ instead of theaters on March 11th as promised. This is Pixar's 3rd movie that has been thrown aside to the streaming site and this is unacceptable. Pixar has been pushed aside from the limelight, and Disney has not been treating the company as greatly in the last couple of years. I grew up with Pixar movies and the fact that they are being treated like this hurts my heart. What Disney is doing to their parent company is so wrong in so many ways. Pixar is giving us lovable characters and memorable movies and yet Disney has the audacity to pressure them into making sequels and spin-off movies. To finally see an original movie and fun is exciting. The animators have worked hard on the past 3 movies and yet their hard work gets chucked onto the streaming site. They do not give Pixar the chance for their movie to blossom and grow like with their newest movie 'Encanto' into a franchise, even into a classic like 'Snow White'. I am here to propose that Pixar deserves to make original movies and their movies should be treated as the same as Disney movies.
