The Princess Bride holds up just as fine now as it did when it came out ! No remake is needed ...This has never stopped a studio before though. Lets settle on a compromise shall we? If you are going to remake this film anyway ...Do it completely differently and with spirit like only The Muppets can bring! 

The only way to remake this film and not insult all of the fans is with The Muppets .Give the people what they want, make the movie AND TAKE MY MONEY !
