Make Disney digitally de-beard Luke Skywalker in their Star Wars sequel trilogy of films.

The Issue

Luke Skywalker is a childhood hero of many. The way that Disney has portrayed him in their two most recent installments of the Star Wars saga, which is to say as a wiry-haired, whiny, bearded hobo with an unkempt set of graying facial hair is disrespectful and unacceptable. Children and adults alike were offended and perplexed by his tired, weathered, defeated look and persona in the films "The Last Jedi" and "The Rise of Skywalker." We the fans therefore hereby formally demand that Kathleen Kennedy, orchestrator of these of these cacophonous monstrosities she deems "films" and their portrayal of a weak, defeatist bastardization of a beloved classic hero like Luke Skywalker, who for so many young Americans has represented the hero coming of age, conquering fear and evil, and the resilience of youth against adversity, and in many ways the personification of the ideal of the American dream itself, ordain the reversal of his scraggly gray beard in these films by use of digital means. Doing so and touching up his appearance to look more youthful and confident will keep his character and appearance in concordance with the previous films, and in continuity with his characterization and portrayal in those films and other Star Wars related media in the Star Wars franchise canon.
