As some of you may be aware, there is a petition going around to re-theme the iconic splash mountain ride to a princess and the frog ride. Due to the Song of the South being a movie that Disney is ashamed of because of the black history involved... some people thinks it would be best to get rid of this attraction. In my opinion Splash Mountain is about the tales of Br’er Rabbit and they were “lesson learner” tales told to the kids. Splash Mountain itself, doesnt mention anything about the movie besides these tales and I think it deserves to stay because of this. Disney already removed this movie from all platforms because of the people who found it offensive. But we can’t let them take away a ride in which so many people grew up with. Including me. This is my (and many others) favourite attraction. Please take a minute out of your day to keep this rides legacy alive for future generations to experience. 

This petition was made only to keep this iconic and much loved ride alive and NOT to bring any hate/discrimination towards the black lives matter. I am speaking on belhalf of all who sign this petition, that black lives indeed do matter and we stand to together to make that change.
