On August 28th, 2020, actor Chadwick Boseman died after four years of battling cancer. Aside from portraying some of the most famous African-American icons, which include Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall, he will probably always be known as the original Black Panther in the MCU. Despite originating the role in 2016 on Captain America: Civil War, his most famous movie is the eponymous 2018 movie, which saw him officially take on the mantle to defeat a spy on the inside of his technologically advanced tribe. With Boseman having been expected to start filming a sequel to the blockbuster movie in 2021, his untimely death has left many fans in jeopardy. Even before his death, I have felt that Animal Kingdom in Orlando could use a ride like this as an update. The last big update the park recieved in recent years was the opening of Pandora: The World of Avatar in 2017. While although Rafiki's Planet Watch would recieve an update a year later, this was not very heavily promoted, which was something that Pandora have gone through. So I believe it is about time that Disney updated Animal Kingdom with a new ride - most likely in the park's Africa section because it's become kind of lacking with the closure of Festival of the Lion King as a result of an argument with the Actors Equity Association - they could ultimately bring tourism back after COVID-19 with an attraction like this. Whether it's an actual attraction with ride vehicles or a virtual reality one, Animal Kingdom could utilize the absence of Boseman by bringing in James C. Mathis III, Black Panther's official voice actor since 2011, to perform the role. The ride could then have a certain place within the ride queue to honor Boseman, noting his powerful performance as the character. If Disney officials happen to be reading this, can you make us Chadwick Boseman fans proud and consider doing it? Please?
