Much like the Cartoon Network and the Nicktoons Network, Toon Disney was another major cartoon channel in our lives, but once it was merged with Jetix to become Disney XD, things have been awful showing live-action shows when it was meant to show cartoons. Toon Disney showcased several different types of animated shows ranging from CGI, Cartoon to Anime. 

With this golden age of the internet people have been fighting to get their childhood back! Recently Nickelodeon re-branded their 90's Are All That block to The Splat and Cartoon Network brought back Toonami on Adult Swim and releasing DVD sales on the internet and streaming their classic shows on popular streaming services such as the likes of Netflix and Hulu. 

Disney Channel on the other hand has their Disney Replay block but that recently moved and got re-branded on Freeform as That's So Throwback and they only show the classic Disney Channel shows. Disney Junior on the other hand is showcasing a lot of their older programming on their channel such as Stanley, Rolie Polie Olie, PB&J Otter, The Koala Brothers etc. Recently they've been adding shows from the Toon Disney lineup like The Little Mermaid, Timon & Pumbaa, Lilo & Stitch The Series and 101 Dalmatians The Series. Disney Channel is already focusing on their live-action shows more than their cartoons, and this is also part of a plan to help fix some of Disney Channel's current problems. If Toon Disney was to be revived and take the place of Disney Junior, it could mean a number of things.

Like the potential Jetix block on Disney XD, it'll most likely be a split channel between Toon Disney and Disney Junior, with Toon Disney airing some of the shows Jetix will have such as Power Rangers, Lilo & Stitch The Series, Teamo Supremo and Huntik. And some of the shows rerunning on Disney Junior such as Stanley, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, 101 Dalmatians etc.

The point of this is for Disney to start airing reruns of your cartoons more often instead of rehashing rip-offs of other shows that already exist and the same teeny-boppy music shows (like Shake It Up, ANT Farm, Austin & Ally and Hannah Montana).

Either way one thing is certain: We would love to see Toon Disney return to the air and if Disney Junior aired it, perhaps it would improve the status of Disney.
