The Disney Store has become somewhat of an establishment in The Gyle Centre as it was the main store once the Princess Street one closed down, generations of people loved going into the Disney Store as it was just a fun, happy place which could transport you back to your childhood watching the films on the TV screen and also taking your own children or family members to experience the Disney Fun and Magic from the shop no matter your age, also a lot of wonderful staff members have lost their jobs these people went out of their way to make going into the Disney Store an even better experience with a smile and a chat even trivia about Disney. I for one am truly saddened that this store has closed its doors, I truly want the company to take note and reconsider reopening the store doesn’t have to be in the Gyle as the rent prices may well be very high but at least a have a main store in Edinburgh again so we can all experience the magic of Disney again. I have a 16 month old daughter who will not grow up knowing what it was like to visit a Disney Store as a child like her brother and sisters did, do you really want your children to miss out on that experience.
