When millennials think of the ABC network's revival of The Wonderful World of Disney, they overwhelmingly think of one title: 1998's My Date With The President's Daughter. The impact the film (starring Will Friedle and Elisabeth Harnois) has had on American culture cannot be overstated; the movie is responsible for numerous cultural touchstones, from the film's bespoke theme song (written and performed by the Presidents of the United States of America, naturally) to the iconic pink dress worn by Hallie (the titular President's Daughter). 

With Disney bringing more and more of its back catalogue to Disney Plus and even offering some subscription tiers the ability to watch new-release films the day they hit theaters, it is astonishing and disappointing that the company has not committed to bringing their beloved Wonderful World of Disney movies to the platform. We urge Disney to consider the wide millennial market, a market that is increasingly becoming parents and homeowners, and shaping the next generation of media aficionados. Disney, bring your Wonderful World of Disney content to high-definition streaming so that future generations can experience the joy of My Date With The President's Daughter.
