Haunted Mansion Holiday is one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland! Every year in September, the Haunted Mansion is transformed into the Haunted Mansion Holiday, a mashup of the Haunted Mansion and The Nightmare Before Christmas. It is a spectacular mixing of two things that Disney fans love and it needs to come to Disney World! So many people are missing out on the holiday mix up.

Imagine for a moment walking through the gates of Haunted Mansion to find a scarecrow with a pumpkin for a head, adorned with the iconic red Santa Clause hat. Passed that and into the building you find the Haunted Mansion transformed, with scary pictures that reflect the holiday and the horror of Haunted Mansion. Board your horseless carriage to find Jack Skellington and friends through it all, intertwined with Madam Leoda, Hatbox Ghost, and Christmas touches all about; even the smell of gingerbread and a quick pass through singing pumpkins in a graveyard full of grim grinning ghosts.

As someone who has lived on the west coast, and now the east coast, the holiday season is simply not the same without this amazing transformation. There is an entire generation of children and even adults that have never had the chance to make it to Disneyland and see it for themselves. And this year, with all going on in 2020, who knows if Disneyland will open or if the Haunted Mansion will remain in its storage boxes.
