America's Funniest Home Videos began its run in 1989 on ABC, and over 700+ episodes have aired. However, most aren't legally available to buy/stream.

Currently, most episodes from seasons 18-23, with a few extras from season 11-17 are available on Disney+, Hulu, and Amazon, with Disney+ featuring the widescreen remasters from 2014.

The Saget run hasn't been on TV since 2010, the John/Daisy run hasn't been on TV since 2014, and the Bergeron run hasn't been seen on TV in the US since 2019. The foreign exclusive Kasem season from 1999-2000 (of which no episodes are found) is last known to have aired in Norway in 2010. Saget/John/Daisy/Kasem seasons are not available to stream anywhere, but very few episodes of all but Kasem and Alfonso's run are available on DVD.

AFV has also fallen victim to lack of release control from the producers. Many music montages have been cut due to complications with music publishers, and all 4:3 Tom Bergeron seasons have been "remastered" to HD, with cropping/stretching and various errors. Disney has the rights to release. The only financially viable way for a release to happen would be a wide release, but for a show running as long as it has, it's next to impossible.

Most episodes are available online in some form via pirate methods, but at some point one gets tired of compressed VHS visuals, especially when it's been shown they still have the master tapes. By signing this petition, we can show Disney that there is interest for episodes to be officially released.
