The WAFL is currently just seven non-aligned clubs against two AFL reserves juggernauts (East Perth & Peel). The Eagles & Dockers simply tinker with teams to suit their needs. By way of example, Peel have stacked their teams to the max with Dockers players for the recent finals games and non-AFL players who have played the majority of the year simply sit and watch on the sidelines as they are forced out of the team. Aligning AFL teams with WAFL teams (currently East Perth & Peel) generally leads to either or both of those teams playing in the grand final each year making it harder and unfair on the other teams.
