On Saturday the 14th of August my dog Ted was killed at a veterinary practice in Sydney. Due to circumstances, Ted was unable to live with my family temporarily and was put into care of my grandparents. He was taken into the Vet for "shots", neither myself of my mum were notified about his visit to the Vet. Whilst in the process of getting his shots, he physically jumped at two Vets, he was very distressed. However, Ted did not fatally harm anyone and the Vets on call did not even need medical attention. It was decided by these vets that he was a "danger" to humans and should be put down. Neither myself or my mum were notified, contacted or even consented to any of this. 

Ted was a year and a half old, he was murdered. Everyone who knew Ted has never been harmed or felt threatened in his presence. Teddy Bear had so much life to live and the actions of these human beings resulted in a tragic loss of life. This amazing dog did not deserve this. It is because of the people who's job it is to "save" animal life, that he is dead. Everyone that knew him is deeply saddened including my family. This was not an accident and this is so far beyond okay. 

I have started this petition because I believe that the Veterinary Practitioners Board of New South Whales, have the power to take away the licenses of the Vets who euthanised my dog teddy without consent. I would never wish this upon anyone and I hope that taking away their medical licenses would save the next dog's life. I wish that the next dog stuck in a similar situation could be spared and not taken away by these people. Please sign this to get justice for Ted and prevent it from happening to anyone else.
