The cafe formerly known as 'Just Fine Food', based in Sorrento, Victoria, has gained wide renown for its (superb) vanilla slice. So much so, that the owners recently changed the name of the business to 'the Vanilla Slice Café'. 

We believe this somewhat pedestrian and, well, vanilla name represents both a failure of imagination and a missed opportunity to provide the Sorrento, wider Mornington Peninsula, and indeed the entire Victorian community with an entertaining and meaningful contribution to the cafe name universe. There is nothing more integral to regional Victorian cafe culture than snot blocks and puns (the coffee is proudly average and outside of the melburn bubble that's not only okay but expected; don't even @ me). 

We propose that the owners reverse this overly-literal, uninspired name change and instead rename the Cafe as either 'Slicey Bois' or 'Vanilla Slice Slice Baby'. 'The Sorrento Snot Block Café' would also be accepted but is not a preferred option.
