This petition is to show the Legislature, politicians, and those in power of Guam that there are many law-abiding, gun-owning Chamorus and residence/former-residence of Guam who would like to bring their firearms for self-defense when visiting our home in Guam but cannot do so because Guam restricts the carry of firearms to residence only. Under the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States, which is the overall law of the nation, including it's territories, Guam SHOULD allow the reciprocity of concealed carry permits from the other 50 states and territories of the United States, or at least look into reciprocating the permits of other states and territories of the United States. 

We are seeing and have been seeing a rise in civil unrest and criminal actions recently in the last 3 - 5 years, maybe even longer. Not only in the mainland US but back home in Guam as well. With such a situation, we law-abiding citizens are taking action into our own hands to defend ourselves, our families, and our communities and would like to have that ability of self-defense open both in our current state of residence and back home in Guam.

Reciprocate the concealed carry permits.
