The University of Wisconsin Madison(UW) used a cat named Double Trouble on the experiment for their purpose. UW implanted a steel coil in Double Trouble's ears, put a stainless steel into her skull, and inserted electrodes in her brain. Also they made her deafened by using a toxic chemical. Since they wanted her to participate well in their experiment, they didn't give any food for her few days. Then if she participated well, they gave a little bit of food.
