Fair pay for nursing 

I have conducted a research project on the challenges nurses face in practice. It is clear to me that nurses are not paid according to the amazing job they do. 

A 12,5 percent pay rise will make them feel recognized and not undervalued. 

From personal to systematic issues, 

nurses carry a lot on their shoulders. 

Yet it has been addressed, 

But why aren't you doing anything about

this concern? 

From sunrise to sunset, we commute within wards, 

We give care with compassion, 

but do you recognize our efforts? 

Even though it is acknowledged. 

Thought we are giving our best to the community  

Emotionally and physically drained,  

we never complain. 

We only ask for a 12,5 percent pay rise 

which can change a lot. 

It is time 

It is time we speak up loudly  

and make our voices heard 

For changes. 

Yes! 

Changes need to take place, 

not only for recognition 

but for support, 

motivation and for the aim  

To create a bigger labor force 

Do not watch our nurses burnout,    

do not let our workforce fall apart.
