Students should be able to express themselves in their own special way. Leesville High School is one of the only schools in the Vernon Parish District that actually uses uniforms. I used to get bullied a lot because of my shoes. Here’s what this implies: Having uniforms brings all the attention to the shoes and if you don’t have a particular type it can cause bullying. It’s also extra money you really shouldn’t be spending if they’d just eliminate uniforms. And bullying is also still a major problem even with uniforms. Bullying will never be stopped, it can only be slightly controlled. Having uniforms isn’t helping anyone. It’s time to make a change. It’s 2020.
