I AM COMPLETELY INNOCENT OF THE CRIME I AM CURRENTLY IN PRISON FOR!
I am a true victim of the system. Convicted of 1st degree murder with: no weapon; no shells; my fingerprints were not in the vehicle that the suspects claimed i was in; i did not match the description of the only witness at the scene of the crime (in her statement she said the shooter ran right passed her); there is videotape surveillance of the victim talking to the state witnesses just seconds before he was murdered, and I am nowhere present at the scene (not on the tape at all), which contradicts the state witnesses statements & testimony. THERE WAS NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE PRESENTED LINKING ME TO THIS CRIME! THERE ISN'T ANY BLOOD, DNA, FIBERS, TANGIBLE EVIDENCE NOR LOGICAL MOTIVE THAT LINKS ME TO THIS CRIME. The victim and I have no known history. I don't know him, nor have we ever met. The only evidence presented in this case were the words of three admitted gang members who've since all recanted in affidavits, NAMING THE REAL SHOOTER as well as admitting to lying because of pressure from: the prosecutor's office and the higharchy of their gang to get me out of the way because I was a threat to their territory.
So not only do i have undisputed evidence that without a doubt proves I was set up by the higher ups of the "Grape Street Crip" gang whom I was at odds with over drug territory in Essex County New Jersey, but I also have clear evidence which shows the corruption within the Essex County Prosecutor's Office and how far they've gone to assure my conviction, as well as keep my exonerating evidence from getting into court so that I stay convicted! Tactics such as: adding prior convictions to my record that do not belong to me to deter me from testifying in my own defense at trial; and sending prison officials to confiscate my motion for new trial w/ recanting affidavits from the state witnesses as gang related or "security threat group" (stg) material, so that I am prevented from filing it in court. I swear i can't make this up....I WAS ARRESTED, INDICTED, TRIALED, CONVICTED & SENTENCED IN LESS THAN 12 MONTHS in a high profile so called "gang case" with NO GANG EXPERT! All three of the state witnesses admitted their grape street crip affiliations, and not one of them nor the lead detective in the case said i was a member. So the state just labeled me a gang member without any testimony from a gang expert, state witnesses or local authorities. That alone tainted my whole trial from the very beginning. I was arrested in September '03. This crime happened in July '03 while I was working; going to nightschool (also attending a computer training course); I was on parole the entire time where I reported to parole submitting to drug test every week w/o failing nor a single infraction. I've maintained my innocence since the day I was arrested. I didn't make any statements, and I've always had an alibi witness who my Judge "Michael A. Petrolle" will not allow to testify. So far, I'm the only case in the state of NJ. who has not been granted at least an evidentiary hearing.
