The Issue

We need to send a message to our lawmakers that we want to repeal marijuana laws in the State of Georgia and remove it from the black market. Marijuana is not a crime and citizens should not be treated as criminals.

We need you to sign the petition and become more involved in the marijuana laws reform movment.

We know that state by state the laws are being repealed. We need to make reform a reality in Georgia. With your help we can bring about CHANGE!

The Petition:

We believe cannabis (marijuana) is not a crime and citizens should not be treated as criminal for possession, use and cultivation of the plant.

Whereas, we know Cannabis (marijuana) has been used by mankind for thousands of years for food, fiber, and medicine and has benefited mankind.

We know the cannabis plant is relatively safe compared to alcohol and tobacco and can be re-legalized for adults 21 and older without jeopardizing public health and safety.

We support cannabis as medicine and believe in the use of the whole plant for the treatment of various medical conditions as it has been deemed “one of the safest therapeutically active substances know to man” according to a D.E.A. law judge after reviewing the evidence.

We support the right of farmers to grow cannabis (hemp) as an industrial crop in the use of the many products that can be created from the plant.

We support the constitutional right to be free to determine how best to live our lives and be free from government intrusion, arrest and incarceration, confiscation of property and to retain the freedom of consciousness. Where there are no victims – there are no crimes.

Therefore, we call on the State of Georgia and Gov. Deal to repeal any marijuana law contrary to these principles;

To parole, pardon or otherwise release from government controls anyone who has been convicted of violation of said laws and to allow its citizens to use cannabis to heal their minds and bodies and to enjoy their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness that is guaranteed under in the Constitution.

Respectfully Submitted to the State of Georgia and the Governor in the year of 2015.
