As of 09 March, a total of 44 confirmed cases have been reported from India. This includes: Delhi(4), Haryana(14), Jammu(1), Kerala(9), Ladakh(2), Punjab(1), Rajasthan(2), Tamil Nadu(1), Telangana(1),  Uttar Pradesh(9). Of these, 16 are foreign nationals. The 6 new cases from Kerala, are in addition to the 3 cases,that have already recovered. Hospitalisolation of the cases,  tracing and home quarantine of their contacts is ongoing in the states from where cases have been reported.

Now this Epidemic disease has been started spreading over the regions of Karnataka. Bangalore, has got many attendees, 5 positive cases as of 12th March for COVID, day by day the number is going on increasing but the government of India is just giving us the motive through caller tunes giving awareness about COVID. It has initiated the shut down of schools till pre-primary but not the colleges until now. Many travel from distant places to college through public transport where people don't even care about others. This COVID is a disease which spreads through contact so more the number of people  more the feel of insecurity about the surrounding, few fall ill due to the fear itself.

We as the citizens of the country & the state, request the State Government of Karnataka to issue a notice on shutting down the Colleges until the further notice of the dropping down in the number of Cases. We all aren't ready to face this Epidemic and Deadly Virus.
