With the recent trends of everything retro and the bringing back of the 90's, many people showed their support for their favorite team during the playoffs by purchasing merchandise that displayed the 1990's "Fiesta" color Spurs team logo, most notably the t-shirt sold at Champs Sports. The colored logo has proven to be a true fan favorite and many team sport apparel brands have capitalized on this fact and continue to do so. 
To celebrate the rich Mexican history of San Antonio, the Spurs redesigned their logo to incorporate "Fiesta" colors (pink, orange and teal) in the 1990's. The colors on the court were changed to match the new logo but they forgot the uniforms and instead just adopted a white colorway. (The warm ups included the new colors and they were pretty neat.)
As an alternate, or a "Hardwood nights" uniform, or to celebrate Fiesta week here in San Antonio, how great would it be to remember and commemorate the franchise's first championship by bringing back the fiesta colors and incorporating them in the uniform!
