Deny the Kennel License to Scott Bergantino

There are too many puppies and dogs living in shelters and needing homes. Granting a kennel license to Scott Bergantino for a breeding facility would only increase the amount of homeless dogs. Is his goal to improve the breeds or just make a buck at the expense of over bred females? Does Scituate want to be known for having a "puppy mill" in their town? Shelters depend on their communities and fund raisers to help support these homeless and sick dogs and more often than not are put down. This not only affects the town but also the state. RI does not need a puppy mill. This application goes up in front of the council Sept. 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
