This past Friday (8-20-21) many boys at our school pep rally decided to take their shirts off(they were half naked) and the school was completely okay with it. Not one boy got in trouble for what was done. This shows the ignorance within the school system and how sexism runs through with no one doing anything about it. The guys who carried out this action should have some kind of punishment.  I also want to bring change to the dress code. We should be able to wear what we’re comfortable in and not be brought down for it. They are many people who share similar experiences and have been constantly deceived for their outfits, when in reality the offense was just for them wearing leggings, crops tops, jeans, shorts, tank tops, etc. Please sign this petition if you have been dress coded and invalided for trying to express yourself , and if you would like, comment the outfit or experience you have had with dress code.
