The biggest problem in the Janesville School District that the students have been facing is the block on valuable websites. Poptropica is a website we did not know we were missing. Time after time, we are given free time and during that time we are told to check Infinite Campus and work on missing assignments. But, what do you do after that? Well, most students will either try to go on their phones, waste time in the bathroom, or look on the internet for games, searching with the word unblocked in it, and it leading you to a google sites page. While some of those choices are better than others, none of those choices are helpful in anyway. I know what you are thinking, ẅhy would you not just search for poptropica unblocked? We have tried and they make you click on the Adobe Flash Player just to try and attempt to play a very glitchy version of the game. That puts disgrace on the game Poptropica. Poptropica is a website that entertains the players while making them face problems and receiving a reward for doing so. Poptropica is a learning tool that boosts confidence in their players. I do not see a reason why it was blocked in the first place. If Poptropica does not get unblocked, students will continue to be entertained in class by wasting time on meaningless activities. Poptropica is a game that not only entertains students but also creates confidence in the students, which would reflect on the district in a positive manner.
