Last week I received letters from my daughter's primary school and my son's secondary school.  The letters came from their headteachers who were asking for the continued support of parents in calling for additional funds for their schools.  Aside from the fact that more money is needed, the message in the letter was clear. Representatives of schools across the country want to arrange a meeting with the Education Secretary, Damian Hinds, but they've been unsuccessful.  Despite asking for a meeting more than once, they've been told that his diary is too busy or that other matters have taken priority.  So, I'd like to ask you to sign this petition, requesting that Mr Hinds arranges a meeting with those Headteachers and representatives who are fighting for additional funds for our children.  If we gain enough signatures, it will likely come to Mr Hinds' attention.  I hope then, some time will be made in Mr Hinds' schedule to meet.

Time is precious, but so is our children's education.  I hope you feel as strongly about this as I do. All they're asking for is some time to meet to discuss this crucial issue.    Please spare a couple of minutes to sign and share this petition.
