The Issue

A stage adaptation of Neil Gaiman's The Ocean at the End of the Lane produced by the National Theatre is playing at the Dorfman Theatre, in London, until January 25th, 2020. The production has received rave reviews and Gaiman himself has expressed a desire for more people to be able to see it, since it has a limited run and plays in a small-ish venue.

Many fans around the world, including people within England but especially those of us who live in countries outside the UK *coughs* non-English speaking countries in Latin America, Asia and Africa *coughs*, will miss it unless the National Theatre incorporates it to their broadcasting project National Theatre Live.

This petition is an effort to show the National Theatre the scope of interest for worldwide screenings of this production, in the hopes of reaching more people and extending the life of the play a little longer. This is just a small exercise to make cultural products more accessible around the world.

Feel free to add in the comments the names of the places where you would like to have The Ocean at the End of the Lane screenings and share this petition with as many fellow fans as you know.
