Brisbane Locals and Queenslanders, let's make the 2021 Ekka something magical and let's bring back an iconic attraction.  The Skymaster Ferris Wheel!!!

In 1969, the first Skymaster Ferris Wheel was introduced and remained an iconic attraction at the Ekka every year inside sideshow alley until the mid 2000's when the A-Frame was sent to the scrap heap, courtesy of the RNA.  

It was such an iconic attraction and it is still widely talked about and missed by thousands of Brisbane locals and farmers who continue to support the show every year.

As the Ekka is forever changing with the times, I believe the Skymaster Ferris Wheel should make an iconic return to the 2021 Royal Queensland Show - Ekka.  It would create comfort and memories and would give us joy and special moments to look forward to, as 2020 has been a turbulent year. 

I believe that the RNA should commission a new A-Frame that can be erected and disassembled every show and allow Durkin's amusement to return the Skymaster Ferris Wheel to its rightful place inside sideshow alley, so that it can once again grace the Brisbane skyline and light up side show alley and most of all bring Joy and Happiness.   

Let's make the message clear to the RNA and let's make it happen!!!!
