A Chartered Interpreter is a person who has gained a high level of skill or competence in interpreting, which has been recognised by the award of a formal credential by a relevant professional organization.

ACCI (The Association of Chartered Certified Interpreters) would like to ask for your support in lobbying for the profession to become chartered.

We have approached the Royal Charter with the initial enquiry and it is vital we receive the backing of both the interpreters and their clients to provide compelling evidence this is the right step for the profession.
