Rory Gallagher was an Irish blues rock guitarist, he was one of the greatest guitarists to ever pick up the instrument. He was an active artist from 1963 right up until his untimely passing in 1995. Rory's band Taste performed with Cream and Blind Faith on touring released the excellent album "On the Boards" in 1970, followed by two live albums before they disbanded. 

Rory's Solo career saw him get the attention of blues rock lovers world wide and in 1965 when The Rolling Stones invited him to jam he said he went just to see what was going on, but was happy with his solo career. 

Rory was on of the great blues guitarists of the world, albums like "Calling Card", "Duece", "Photo Finish" and the incomparable "Irish Tour 74" cemented his legacy. So why is such an icon of Rock and Roll not in the Rock & Roll hall of fame? It's a travesty and if Ahmet Ertegun (founder of the Rock & Roll HOF) was here he'd be embarrassed. 

Rory influence such icons as The Edge, Slash, Brian May, Eric Clapton, James Dean Bradfield, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Glenn Tipton and many more. 

Rory Gallagher needs to be in the R&R HOF, no more excuses, no more time Rory should be inducted in 2023. 

In the 36 year history of the Rock & Roll Hall of fame, Rory hasn't even been nominated once, while others have had multiple nominations.
