I write this petition from the side of my wife as we welcome our eighth child into the world by God's grace.

Recent changes to the RNC platform have caused me to go from an eight year enthusiastic Trump supporter to someone who will not vote for any candidate who affirms the current RNC platform, including Trump. 

The RNC is officially standing against a federal ban on abortion. This is worse than standing against a federal ban on slavery and our country fought a civil war over that. Liberty means nothing when life is not protected. Life, then liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

The unilateral platform changes were forced and were not put to a vote, nor was the usual committee action allowed. These changes are not democratic in any sense and will vindicate every claim that Trump is a dictator if they are allowed to remain in place.

If protecting unborn citizens, the most vulnerable of all our national people, is not a hill worth dying on, then no hill is worthy enough to die on.

I call on every pro-life person in our nation to stand up for the unborn and demand an immediate return to the previous RNC platform.
