Save the Trees in Apex!!!

The town of Apex has approved the construction of more than 9,000 new residential homes, according to Nicole Dozier a town councilwoman. Almost every development that is under construction at this time has clear cut nearly all of the trees, which leads one to believe that by doing so they are fitting in more houses to maximize their profits. Although progress and development is usually welcomed, it should not be at the cost of the environment and quality of life. Some would argue that the development and deforestation is only supplying the current demand of people wanting to move to Apex. It is true that people want to move here; however, development should be more protective for the quality of life in “the peak of good living.”
