Edward R. Murrow High School has been a beacon of education for generations. It is within this institution that many students have been inspired and guided to great heights by the teachers and staff. Among these teachers was Thomas Wright, the Gospel Chorus leader at Murrow High School. Thomas Wright has undeniably left a mark in his field, contributing significantly to his respective industry and supporting the community. 

Thomas Wright was a shining light in his community and spread positivity in everything he did. He uplifted his students and his fellow staff. Unfortunately, Thomas Wright’s life was cut short after he had been missing for over 2 weeks. As proud members of this community, we feel it is justly deserved that a room in Edward R. Murrow High School be named after Thomas Wright, in honor of his achievements and as a symbol of his eternal impact on his students, his fellow staff, and the school. This act will serve not only as a recognition of Thomas Wright's efforts but will also remind everyone each day of his lasting contribution to his community and school.
