Demand Transparency and Redesign of Detroit Sign!

The current sign fails to capture the essence of our city. We demand transparency regarding this expenditure. We deserve to know how much each letter cost? What materials were used? How much did installation costs amount to? We have a right to understand where our money went.

Furthermore, we believe that the design should be reconsidered to better represent Detroit. We propose a redesign that prominently features the iconic Detroit "D". This is not just about aesthetics; it's about respect for our city's heritage and prudent use of public funds.
