Back in our world's history,  members of the Ottoman Empire overtook a city, renaming it Istanbul and diminishing the legacy of the Byzantium Empire due to them erasing Constantinople off of the map. Although great songs have been made regarding this shift, that does not mean that it was ok. The Turks may have liked Istanbul better at that time, yet they did not realize that it would remove a wonderful geographical name from all maps going forward. Constantinople, being a word, did not deserve to be erased, for the word is simply too fun to say. Changing this back to its original roots will give credit to those who actually built up the city instead of those who got lazy, took credit for the city, and renamed it to be Istanbul.
