For years at Pro Arte Alphen Park, students have experienced the frustrating issue of not being able to enjoy their recess time fully due to the tuckshop's ineffective system. As a long-term student, I've noticed that the most popular items, specifically the Chips and the Burger Combo, are consistently either sold out too quickly or require unbearably long wait times, leaving many of us with empty stomachs or unsatisfying alternatives such as snacks.

This problem arises from the fact that individuals can buy excessive quantities of these fan-favorite items. It's not unusual to see people walking away with 6 bags of chips, while other students, including myself, stand in line for nearly the entire recess period only to be told there's nothing left. This process results in unnecessarily long queues, causes unnecessary disappointment, and effectively ruins the recess experience for a considerable portion of the student body.

The scalping-like behavior of purchasing in bulk not only depletes inventory at rapid rates but also causes significant delays for every other student hoping to buy a snack during their brief break from classes. This situation is unfair and calls for a system that better accommodates the entire student population.

I propose that the tuckshop introduces a limit on the number of popular items each student can buy at one time, ensuring enough stock for everyone and maintaining shorter, more efficient lines. Additionally, exploring options like pre-ordering or online reservations for collection could stabilize demand and reduce lunchtime chaos.
