India Must Stop Animals & Birds Sacrifice

The Issue

Indian Government has successfully prevented the cruel & mass animal sacrifice in Gadhimai, Nepal by stopping transport of animals from India. Transportation of cows along the India/Bangladesh border has stopped thus preventing cruelty and barbaric sacrifice in Bangladesh.  Irony is - India is yet to put an end to this.  Millions of animals and birds across India are killed in the name of God preceded by inhumane treatment of animals during transport. Is it not time for India to prove its compassion towards these hapless creatures which need protection ? Please sign the petition to be forwarded to the Prime Minister of India with a request to him to implement existing laws through the State Governments in stopping cruelty to Animals & Birds. Thank you.
