Pigeons need to be fed too! Excluding them is speciesism. It leads to cruelty.
Which other species of bird, apart from pigeons, saved thousands of human lives in wartime, as messengers?
It is tragic beyond words to see pigeons relentlessly abused, for fun. It is even more tragic when nobody bothers to stop this cruelty, which is an offence under the law. Cruelty to pigeons, or to any wild bird, is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This law is not being enforced, and so the abuse continues.
Please take time to read this petition and the heartfelt comments it contains, and take the following action to get this cruelty stopped.

Let’s respect pigeons, like other birds. They have every right to be here. We are supposed to be a Nation of Animal Lovers!
