Pigeons are horribly abused in parks and public places. People are threatened for defending them. This endangers Public Health and Safety and ruins our quiet enjoyment of public areas - which should be places for everyone to enjoy.
Abusing pigeons is illegal under The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, which makes it an offence to harm any wild bird, including pigeons. This law is not enforced.
Cruelty to pigeons is ignored by everyone with the power to stop it. Pigeons were not abused in the past, and should not be abused now. They are our forgotten heroes of war.
Please bring this injustice to the attention of your MP. It must be the subject of a debate in Parliament, and a full, independent public enquiry.
We all deserve abuse-free parks and public places.
Our petition has 14,993 signatures. Let’s exceed 15,000.
We are a Nation of Animal Lovers. Let’s live up to that reputation.
Please stop the abuse of pigeons. It is incredibly cruel and unnecessary.

It is time for pigeon abuse to become something which nobody does any longer.
