I need your help to stop the abuse of pigeons.
Well over 15,184 people agree that pigeon abuse is unacceptable, by signing this petition, and many more have made comments in support of ending pigeon abuse. This, in itself, has raised awareness of the problem among people. Thank you to everyone for your support!
Unfortunately, this is not enough to solve the problem of pigeon abuse in parks and public places.
Pigeon abuse needs to become something that doesn't happen any more, because it is unacceptable. Who, among the people who have signed this petition, will do something towards making that change happen? Could it be you?
I need your help, because I cannot achieve this on my own! I am only one voice.
See the petition below:-
Cruelty to pigeons causes public distress.
Pigeons are horribly abused in parks and public places. People are threatened for defending them. This endangers our safety and ruins our enjoyment of public areas. Abusing pigeons is illegal under The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. This law is not being enforced.
Cruelty to pigeons is devastating to see but is ignored by everyone with the power to stop it.
My MP promised to speak about pigeon abuse in Parliament, but is now silent, as is the Prime Minister, the Government and Therese Coffey at DEFRA.
So, where do we go from here? Please spread the word about this petition. If your MP holds regular surgeries, go along and talk about this petition or ring your MP and tell them. The Government needs to know that stopping this cruelty to pigeons matters to thousands of people.
Communication by word of mouth can sometimes be effective. Every voice counts!

It is time for pigeon abuse to become unfashionable, unacceptable, and something which nobody does any longer.
Let’s stop the cruelty and give pigeons a good life!
