We need a debate in Parliament about pigeon abuse. Will your MP help?
My MP hopes to speak about pigeons during the current session of Parliament, which ends on 30 March 2023.
Can you help?
Please also ask your MP to bring the matter of pigeon abuse to the attention of Parliament, to get this matter debated and the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 enforced, to protect pigeons.
Pigeons are horribly abused in parks and public places. People are threatened for defending them. This endangers Public Health and Safety and ruins our quiet enjoyment of parks and other public places - which should be places for everyone to enjoy.
Abusing pigeons is illegal under The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, which makes it an offence to harm any wild bird, including pigeons.
This law is not enforced. Cruelty to pigeons is ignored by everyone with the power to stop it. Pigeons were not abused in the past, and should not be abused now.
Let’s bring this injustice to the attention of Parliament. Pigeon abuse must be the subject of a debate in Parliament, and a full, independent public enquiry.
We all deserve abuse-free parks and public places.

Many thanks.
It is time for pigeon abuse to become unfashionable, and something which nobody does any longer.
