On Holocaust Memorial Day, 27 January 2021, the Prime Minister urged MPs in Parliament -
“to fight against all forms of hatred and prejudice, wherever they are found”.
We ask him, now, to protect pigeons from hatred and prejudice under the Animal Welfare Sentience law, currently being discussed in Parliament. There are currently 11,777 people who want this abuse to stop . My petition link is here.
Abuse of pigeons is shocking to see. Tragically, it has become a habit, with parents actually encouraging children to abuse pigeons. Why?
Abuse of pigeons ruins our enjoyment of parks and public places. It sets a precedent that abuse of vulnerable creatures is “acceptable”. It creates a culture of cruelty, and a powder keg of animal abuse for the future.
Animal abuse also leads to people abuse.
Kindness must become the norm; teaching children to be kind to pigeons and all animals is vital for the welfare of all animals, now and in the future.

Speciesism is out. Let’s make the world a fairer place for pigeons, and give them full, specific protection under the Animal Welfare Sentience law. The abuse of pigeons, our forgotten heroes of war, shames our Nation of Animal Lovers.
Abuse of pigeons has no place in our modern world today.
