Our Petition to Stop the Abuse of Pigeons in Parks, Gardens and Streets and Protect Pigeons by Law, was submitted to the Prime Minister on 21 September. It has received no response.

Please contact the Prime Minister to ask him to outlaw pigeon abuse, so that it becomes something that nobody does any longer. It must become no longer acceptable in our society today.
Pigeons are sentient beings. They are beautiful wild birds. They do not deserve to be abused. No living creature deserves to be kicked, chased and bullied.

We need a response from the government. This matter concerns everyone. It must be solved for the sake of abused pigeons, and because everyone has the right to enjoy parks and public places, and for them to be abuse-free.

Ask them feature the heroic role played by carrier pigeons, as vital messengers, during both World Wars, at the annual Remembrance Commemorations in November. Pigeons served alongside soldiers, sailors and airmen. They carried messages, when all other forms of communication had failed. Flying for hundreds of miles, often wounded, and under enemy fire, they brought hope and saved lives, in desperate situations and when all other means of communication had failed.
Pigeons deserve recognition and thanks as our heroes of war.
A feature about pigeons in wartime would greatly enhance their image in the eyes of the public.

My petition, meanwhile, remains open because its presence on the internet is needed to assist the Prime Minister, to achieve the necessary correction of public opinion.
