Justice for pigeons, persecuted and abused!
Nine days later - and no response.
I submitted my Petition to Stop the Abuse of Pigeons in Parks, Gardens and Streets and Protect Pigeons by Law, to the Prime Minister on 21 September 2021, but I have not yet received a response.

The Prime Minister is very busy, but pigeon abuse continues, causing stress, heartbreak and suffering. It is Speciesism, the animal equivalent of racism.
Pigeon abuse shames our “Nation of Animal Lovers”. It is an insult to pigeons everywhere, who risked their lives for us during both World Wars, as messengers, flying - often wounded - to save soldiers, sailors, airmen and civilians, bearing messages from agents in France and, like pigeon GI Joe, saving whole towns from being bombed.
Pigeon abuse and persecution must stop.

"Stop the abuse of pigeons in parks, gardens and streets, and protect pigeons by law”
The above petition was submitted to you on 21 September 2021, with 10,000 signatures, over 187 reasons for signing and more than 419 comments on the 83 petition updates, which you should read and consider.

We seek to change public opinion from the state that it is in, which has resulted in pigeons being regularly abused and persecuted in public places, often by children, encouraged by adults or other children, and sometimes even by older people. Nobody can stop this abuse without risking their own safety. This is unacceptable in our democracy, and in our Nation Of Animal Lovers.
Let’s start in schools and at home, by teaching children that pigeons should be respected and not hurt, kicked or chased. No animal deserves to be abused!
Please allocate time, both at the Conservative Party Conference, and in Parliament, for a full discussion about the problem of abuse of pigeons, which harms pigeons, makes parks and public places unsafe and threatening, and causes great distress to many people in the United Kingdom today.
Please keep your promise “to fight against all forms of hatred and prejudice, wherever they are found” which you made to the House of Commons on Holocaust Memorial Day - 27 January 2021. Please start by fighting against hatred and prejudice towards pigeons.
Let’s all stand together against hatred.
