Stop requiring kids with head lice to use pesticide-containing products

The Issue

Head lice affects thousands of children on Long Island each year. While pesticide containing products have been the standard of treatment for many years, head lice are now becoming resistant to these methods. Many parents are turning to more natural, pesticide-free alternatives such as organic products and combing. Many Long island school districts are requiring that children be treated with pesticide-containing products before allowing them to return to school.   In addition to the fact that these products do not work very well, there can also be side effects associated with them. Let's give parents the right to choose natural methods of lice eradication!
