Changes need to be made to the legislative branch of the government of the United States to preserve our democracy.  I would propose the following:

1) Term limits, same as the executive branch.

2) Hourly federal minimum wage for pay.

3)  No expense accounts.

4)  No health care except what the government offers it's citizens.

5)  No paid vacation.

6)  No maternity leave.

7)  No retirement benefits except social security.

Of the people, by the people, for the people.
