It is not fair that casinos, hotels,shops and many more are allowed to operate at a percentage capacity in South Africa and yet churches are told to only operate at 50 people regardless of the size of the premises of the church. This is not just a violation of people's belief and faith , to deny them the freedom to worship their God freely but it also takes away a place of safety and comfort from many people who deem churches as such. Many people are sitting at home sick, depressed, hungry, anxious and in emtional turmoil because they are being deprived of going to church, where they would receive help. I would like to ask the president to review his decision of allowing the churches to only work at 50 people, and to give them the opportunity to also operate at a percentage capacity, provided that they also shall follow the health and safety measures that are put in place by the government.

If shops, taxis, casinos, hotels and many more are trusted to operate with the exisiting health and safety measures at a percentage capacity, then churches can do the same, if not better.

Exodus 9:1- Then the LORD said Moses," Go to Pharoah and say to him,' This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says:" Let my people go, so that they may worship me."
