VAR is ruining everything about football, from the passionate moments when you score to having faith in referees. VAR is a money making addition and is corrupt to give decisions to big teams like Liverpool who the football league need to have challenging at the top  so companies like sky sports can televise this to make millions and therefore keep partnership deals with the premier league and to continue to invest in them. 

On Saturday Sheffield United scored at home to Southampton, this was a big goal and sent all fans into bedlam as they were exstatic to score a big goal and put early points on the board. This goal was then dissalowed by VAR and completely washed any positivity out of the stadium, therefore causing Southampton to score and make all the fans who once cheered at the top of their voices, to leave bramall lane battered and knowing that they have another 33 games this could happen again in. Another example of this is Manchester City’s late goal against Tottenham which was harshly dissalowed as it brushed a team mates hand, despite it being in a natural position and not changing the coarse of the ball. These are just two examples of how VAR has taken away that moment you cheer as loud as you can after a goal, the best part of football, seeing your team score and going crazy.

football is an entertainment industry, not an industry that should be focused on making as much profit as it can. VAR strips this entertainment and shows another example of how money is everything in football and because of this football as a sport is ruining itself.

this is why VAR should be abandoned at the end of the season.
